We create unique, handcrafted ceramics that perfectly reflect the character of your brand and work perfectly with your operations concept. Our experience allows us to handle both individual pieces and large-scale projects - always with the same attention to quality and detail.
Large orders are never a problem for us - we can manufacture over 300 plates or complete tableware sets for your entire restaurant, hotel or cafe. Each piece is carefully crafted to be both beautiful and durable, ready to shine in everyday use.

HOW TO Order Your
Dream Ceramics?
STEP 1 / INQUIRY
Get in touch and outline your project’s essentials – design vision, quantity, timeline, and budget. We’ll schedule a personal meeting to explore your ideas further.
STEP 2 / BRIEFING
Meet us in person at SWAWOLE ATELIER to discuss details, sketch concepts, and brainstorm creative directions. This is where your vision starts to take shape.
STEP 3 / COST ESTIMATE
After the initial meeting, we’ll prepare a detailed cost estimate for your project. Once approved, we move on to the design phase.
STEP 4 / CONCEPT PHASE
Depending on the project’s complexity, we create up to three design variants – presented as sketches, 3D models, or prototypes. This stage is paid upfront.
STEP 5 / PROJECT EXECUTION
After selecting the final concept, we fine-tune details, prepare prototypes, and, once approved, begin production in the agreed quantity. Each piece is handcrafted with care and precision to reflect your unique vision.

A creative duo with an academic background in architecture, urban design, and product design, we bring together over 15 years of professional experience across multiple design disciplines and more than 25 years of expertise in ceramic design and production. For almost a decade, we have successfully run SWAWOLE ATELIER, delivering high-quality handcrafted ceramics for fine dining restaurants, specialty cafés, and design-conscious clients. After hosting over a hundred pottery workshops and building a strong network of professional potters in the Hamburg area, we’ve established the city’s first open pottery studio – a place where craftsmanship, design, and community meet.
