Handcrafted ceramics for a temporary wine bar and bistro pop-up in Eimsbüttel, Hamburg
Located on Eppendorfer Weg, Hamburg, Klinker Bar combined the soul of a wine bar with the sensibility of a bistro – a temporary project extending the spirit of its fine dining counterpart Kliker Restaurant located in the Hoheluftchaussee 73, Hamburg. For this concept, SWAWOLE ATELIER,created a distinctive collection of handcrafted ceramics that became an integral part of the bar’s visual identity. A signature addition to that tableware was a set of Girls Plates created in a collaboration with Gabi Strama.
From the characterful Girls series to the subtly marbled plates and bowls, the tableware reflected Klinker’s approach to modern dining – honest, tactile, and unpretentious. The collaboration captured the essence of both craftsmanship and cuisine, celebrating the beauty of small, temporary projects that leave a lasting impression.
Klinker Bar closed in 2024, but the tableware lives on in further projects of the founders of Klinker Restaurant across Hamburg's thriving fine dining scene.
